Healing strength after trauma like abuse, accidents, or natural disasters
Restorer God, Lifter of the Fallen and Redeemer of Broken Stories,
In the aftershocks of trauma that still tremor within, we turn to You—
not because the memories fade, but because Your resurrection power lives.
We thank You for survivor's breath.
For lungs that learned to breathe after the flood,
For feet that found footing on shattered ground,
For hearts beating despite betrayal's blade.
"In all things, give thanks."
Reclaim what darkness tried to steal.
Where shame left scars, anoint them as holy markings;
Where fear built fortresses, plant gardens of courage;
Where voices were silenced, birth a survivor's anthem.
"I will restore the years the locusts have eaten."
Anchor us in sacred defiance.
When triggers threaten to drown today in yesterday's storm,
Whisper: "You are more than conquerors through Me,"
And turn every flashback into a testimony-in-waiting.
Weave purpose from our pain.
Let our healed wounds become shelter for others,
Our hard-won resilience a bridge over despair's canyon,
Our survival story a living psalm: "Death could not hold Him!"
Consecrate our fragile strength.
Where the world sees brokenness, reveal holy transformation;
Where medicine charts "symptoms," inscribe "warrior";
Where statistics predict limits, unleash resurrection power.
Wounded Healer who emerged from the tomb's darkness,
Make our scars shine with Easter morning light.
May we roar with Paul: "Nothing can separate us from Your love!"
In Your triumphant name, we pray. Amen.
